China Hands is now accepting nominations for the 2017 feature, 5 Under 25 in US-China relations!
Founded in 2012, China Hands aims to provide a platform for constructive dialogue on China-related issues and on US-China relations. It has published and distributed over 6,000 copies of its magazine over six semesters, has readership in over 70 countries, and maintains a popular Facebook page with over 5,000 followers updated daily by a team of over 50 contributors from schools such as Yale, Harvard, Stanford, Peking University, and the University of Hong Kong.
This fall, China Hands is launching its fourth edition of the “Under 25” series, a feature that will profile 5 young Chinese/Americans/internationals under the age of 25 (or 25 years old) who have demonstrated exceptional promise in China studies and in furthering the future of the US-China relationship. Candidates will be evaluated on their academic contributions, professional/extracurricular experience, and demonstrated leadership.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, October 13th, 2017. If you know someone who has done important work or research in/on China, please consider nominating him or her. Or feel free to ask someone to nominate you!
The nomination form can be found here. The final 5 Under 25 list will be published in the upcoming fall edition of China Hands, which will be distributed to dozens of college campuses as well as China-related organizations both in the U.S. and abroad. If you have any questions about 5U25 or are interested in getting involved with China Hands in other ways, please email email@example.com.
